We beat off strong global competition to win a contract to refresh the design of one of Reckitt Benckiser’s top-selling product ranges.
Our redesign of the packaging for the Vanish stain remover range was launched on millions of cans, cartons, tubs and bottles in over 50 countries throughout the world.
Reckitt Benckiser asked us to redesign and simplify the layout, branding, illustrations and wording on the Vanish packaging. We used market research as part of our analysis of the previous packaging, so that we could establish what needed to be kept, and then we set about making the messages easy to understand, user friendly and ensure the range stood out on the supermarket shelves. One of the main challenges was to incorporate different languages in the design.
As well as redesigning the Vanish packaging, we also produced global branding and packaging guidelines for Reckitt Benckiser marketing agencies throughout the world. This was to ensure that the design will be consistent wherever it is used.
